Ok if I was complaining about DA in general, you're almost right. Except-- guess what? A lot of us cannot buy a subscription. Job. Age. Family not "allowing" it-- or as I'm realizing it's only allowed through paypal/credit card---> so you cannot pay any other way.

One person, I'm not sure if they're being sarcastic or not, and the other person was kind of rude. Of course I commented on it-- not bashing them just pointing a fact... they simply read the title-- glanced it, and made a remark. Urm. What do you guys think? Bash? Sarcasm? Or both. One of them may have been serious, but I don't know their reputation. With all the "let's go out against anime artists and bash them," I'm not sure if they're serious or not.

I'll maybe make a "real" entry later-- I haven't really been on DA to catch up in about 2 days. So I'll do that hopefully tonight.
I'm noticing more and more anime or anthro artists wanting to leave b/c they're being discriminated against. It's really not fair, and yes I know life isn't fair. But is it fair for an artist-- a creator to get -bashed- or -flamed- simply b/c of their style? no. If it was *bad* art, fine. Constructive critism, or even don't bother commenting!! Don't look at it. If you don't like it, don't look. If it's on the DTF page, and you DON'T like that style-- simply do NOT click it. Is that so hard? Most of the people who get DTF's do not -ask- to get that. Lately all it comes with is flamming or bashing. Instead of respect or acknowledgment for their hard work, or their talent, or their creation~ it's bringing them flamming.
I'm seeing it every where-- people wanting to leave because of this. And you can't always report them b/c *certain* people will do -nothing.- They'll say "ignore them." Well, normally that would help-- but if it's a bunch of them flamming you; then what? If it's a bunch of them bashing you or calling your art trash-- then what? The people I devwatch, I'm also noticing a lot of them feeling they have this... "high expectancy" of art style... they draw certain things for a while... and then they feel like it's hard for them to do anything else without risking being flammed-- or "fear" (of sorts) to submit something that's not "up to par." C'mon. No one's perfect. And shoot, it can be angsty or cute or whatever, if it's what that creator likes to post, then they should feel comfortable enough with posting something without worrying someone's going to bash/flame it or complain that " I've seen you do better." Ok if in the comments the artists/photographer/writer says "How is this in comparison to..." or "How could I improve..." ok fine. If they're not, then there is *no* reason to tell them that "I've seen you do better..." or saying something is "wrong" with it. Deviantart, I thought, was a place to share art or creations with other people, and to meet new people. I've met a ton of people on DA. Some of them I "keep in contact with," up to a point. Other's I just simply comment on their art. I look at every thing with an open mind. And leave a comment. What I like best about it, what the creation "feels" like, etc... And yet... I continue to see pointless bashing and flamming and even harassment. And the worse part-- someone was harassed and the "harasser" (?) was only banned for a month. Where they can simply sign up under another name (which I heard one of them did) and just continue their flamming. And they don't come alone. No. They come in pairs or more. There needs to be a club created against bashers. There's groups out there to "bash" or are " anti-anime" or "anti" a particular genre... which wouldn't be bad, if they weren't *searching* for "popular" artists to bash... or *searching* to bash someone. If you don't like that particular genre, why do you make it a point to go find artists of that genre and bash them? Not many people on DA are professionals, so don't expect *perfect* art. Some of us post our things to show friends... or to ask on how to improve... or to show our personal progress in a certain style or genre. It just saddens me to see people leaving b/c of *stupid* people. Or -wanting- to leave, or changing what they post b/c of -stupid- people. Yes this is my rant for the day

It just really is sad... :sigh: Ah well-- I'm sure I had more to say, but it's been said enough by other people, and I'll just stop this here ....On a happy note-- I found some more amv's that arigatomina had done so
