It's pretty good if you were just trying out a few things, and a good colouring job - PSP 7.0 isn't the easiest thing to use for colouring, so you did well. The characters look a little stiff though - and perhaps if you started playing around with eyes you'd get a nice effect? Half closed or whatever. Anyways, it's nice!

Thank you very much. *nods* I was going to make them half closed, but then I got "worried" I was going to screw it up (worse) so to speak. And yes, I have a huge problem with faces (and what not) appearing to be a little (or a lot) "flat" Do you have any suggestion(s) on what I can do to help the faces look more full? And to "loosen" up the characters, other than the eyes, would you suggest anything else?

Yeah, I'm the master of screwing up stuff. Try and use layers though, because you can do a load of stuff, and if you end up making a huge mistake, just delete the layer and you'll have the original piece back.

"Flat" faces...I'm pretty terrible at profiles, but I think it helps if the head is turned slightly, just so that you can see the other eye or something. If you don’t want to do that, try more detailed shading around the nose and eye areas – if you look at yourself in the mirror with your head turned different ways, you can see how the light reflects onto your skin. You could try transferring some of that into the work.

Otherwise, just keep practicing. Positions are always quite hard, so if you want to focus on body positioning, I wouldn’t worry too much about the faces until you have that perfected.

Yeah, PSP7 is pretty hard to colour with. You did a very nice job. And I likes teh yaoiness... Muahaha.

If you don't stop making pics of this you're gonna have ME looking at those doujinshi and counting my quarters with you- is that what you want? Competition? 0.o
